Project Active Citizen (PAC) Program educates beyond 18-year-olds with special needs. The program takes place at a residential house to help transition students become responsible citizens in the community. This is a partnership between the Burlington Area School District and Waterford Union High School.

The student lot offers 370 parking spaces for students. Any student who seeks to gain parking privileges must complete the online application/agreement in PowerSchool. Seniors and Juniors receive first priority. Sophomores and Freshmen will be notified if available permits remain. Students who choose to drive to school without a permit are strongly encouraged to park in either the soccer or baseball lots rather than on the neighborhood streets. Street parking regulations are changing, and street parking is limited. A permit is not required to park in the soccer or baseball lots, yet students need to follow school regulations regarding parking and safe driving practices.

Online: Using a web browser (chrome, safari, etc...), click on the link to Power School from the school website. On the left navigation menu, choose Attendance Monitor. Follow the prompts for entering the absence. Make sure to hit “Submit”

Phone: Call the Attendance Office at 262-534-3150 x3300. Be prepared to leave a message with

• Your Relationship to the Child
• Child’s Name and Grade
• Date of the Absence
• Reason for the Absence
• Call back number

Important Reminder: Turn in NOTES from HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS with the dates of care.

WUHS contracts Taher Food to provide lunch service. You can add funds to your student(s) account by using RevTrak. In-person, payments should be placed in the mailbox before 8:30 am to be credited that day. Students will not be allowed to purchase any items if their account is in a negative balance. If a student does not have sufficient funding and needs a meal, they will need to see the Food Service Director prior to lunch that day.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

When in the judgment of the bus company road conditions are unsafe, we will not start a school day. The announcement will be made over WTMJ Channel 4 and WTMJ 620 (radio). Do not call the bus company. Parents will also be notified of school closings via our ParentSquare messaging system (text, email, and phone call).
